I'm not really sure what to make of this. In case you hadn't heard, Beijing is the site of the next Olympic Games. An an attempt to "clean up" the country beforehand, China has officially banned the following things from all audio-visual content (including film, tv, and internet):"Wronged spirits and violent ghosts, monsters, demons, and other inhuman portrayals, strange and supernatural storytelling for the sole purpose of seeking terror and horror."
If this sounds ridiculous and Communist, well...China is definitely both of those things. I just hope there aren't too many Chinese fans of Scooby-Doo...
