A few weeks ago, Oceanic Airlines announced on a new site that they are open for business once again. A few days later, a man (or rather, a character) named Sam Thomas hacked into that site and asked the world for help. Apparently, Oceanic Airlines has given up the search for Flight 815, and presumes all of its passengers dead. Sam Thomas was an IT Technician whose long-term girlfriend, Sonja, was a flight attendant on 815. I feel for the guy. As if being an IT Technician isn't enough...
He invites you to join him on his search by going to www.find815.com
Once there, you'll see some very well-produced video that looks like its straight from the show, have access to Sam's desk, and go on some clue hunts to help him find his lost love. According to the producers, this "web experience" will last right up until the night of the Season 4 premiere, January 31st. Every day, new content is available for you to peruse.
Entertainment Weekly's official Lost aficionado, Jeff Jensen, has already voiced his opinion on the subject, and if you don't feel like doing the work yourself, you could just read a daily-updated synopsis on Lostpedia's Find815 page. My advice? Just go to Find815.com and have fun. If I had to make a guess, I'd wager that Sam Thomas will make an appearance on the show this season, and that his lost love Sonja is alive and well with the Others.
